John BarricelliThe SoNo Baking Company & Café, is the creation of John Barricelli who had a vision of creating artisan breads, top quality French-style pastries and specialty cakes in a homey, inviting Bakery/Café. His culinary experience includes having worked for one of the finest restaurants in Fairfield County: The Elms Restaurant and Tavern in Ridgefield, CT. John’s exceptional talent and ability landed him at Martha Stewart Living Productions in Westport, CT and later a spot on Martha Stewart.

John has made his dream of owning a Bakery/Café into a reality. Located in popular South Norwalk, CT (known as SoNo), he renovated a 3,600 sq. ft. former warehouse and brought to life The SoNo Baking Company & Café. This intimate, beautiful, upscale Café boasts an open kitchen and bakery, providing a mouth-watering aroma of fresh baked breads from the deck oven imported from Italy. You’ll watch in awe of the gorgeous cakes being decorated and delicate pastries being carefully constructed – all while dining on a simple yet delicious menu.

John and the staff at The SoNo Baking Company & Café invite you to stop by to enjoy a bite to eat, sip one of the many specialty coffees or sample some of the unusual and imaginative desserts.
